Drawn to the Library: National Library Week April 6-12, 2025
04/04/2025

National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.

This year’s National Library Week 2025 theme is Drawn to the Library! What draws people to the library? Everything! From books and digital resources to job assistance and creative programming, libraries are essential to thriving communities.

National Library Week, April 6–12, 2025, is a time to celebrate the many ways libraries bring people together, spark imagination, and support lifelong learning.

We invite the community to join the celebration! Now is the perfect time to explore all the Learning Commons has to offer. We provide information resources like books, eBooks, textbooks on reserve, articles from our library databases, video sources through streaming and DVD, as well as the largest open computer lab on campus, study rooms, equipment like graphic calculators, headphones, phone chargers, A&P models, and one-on-one help with finding sources for essays, tutoring in subjects like writing, math, CIT, Accounting, Chemistry, and more. We want to ensure that everyone has access to free resources that educate, inspire, and connect students to their academic success, career goals, and the world around them.

Whatever draws you in, the library has something for everyone. Whether you’re preparing for a career change, launching a business, raising a family, or embracing retirement, the Learning Commons and even our partner libraries at Western Kentucky University and the Warren County Public Library are here to support your journey. Libraries serve as hubs for learning, creativity, and connection, helping people of all ages explore new ideas and opportunities.

Whatever draws you in, the library has something for everyone. Celebrate National Library Week, April 6 - 12, 2025.
