SKYCTC Learning Commons Mission Statement

The mission of the Learning Commons is to provide access to library services, information resources, and academic support services to students, faculty and staff to support the mission of Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College.

Monday - Thursday:  7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Friday:  Closed (remote services available 7:30 am – 11:00 am)
Hours may vary due to health guidelines, holidays, or when classes are not in session.

May 31st (Memorial Day): Closed
July 5th (Independence Day Observed): Closed

After Hours?

Visit one of our partner libraries below. SKYCTC students, faculty, and staff can check out materials free of charge with their SKYCTC ID.

  • 4 Graphing Calculators (TI-84 PLUS CE)**
  • 4 Poster kits** (includes stapler, tape, scissors, glue, colored markers, and colored pencils)

In the Library:

  • 14 computers* (used for class library instruction sessions or for overflow if the Learning Commons reaches capacity)
  • Print release station

  • 1 study room with 2 computers***
  • Books & audiobooks available for 2-week check-out
  • DVDs available for 5-day check-out
  • Class Reserves**
