First Year Experience (FYE): Tutoring & Study Help

In-person appointments are scheduled at the Main Campus in the Learning Commons, Building L, Room 119. Virtual appointments are scheduled via Microsoft Teams.

• Writing tutors/coaches help with document formatting and documentation (APA, MLA, and Chicago) and provide one-on-one writing consultations for essays, speeches, writing-heavy assignments, and presentations.

I need to schedule an in-person or virtual appointment with a Math Tutor.

• Math tutors can help with calculator usage and tutoring for the following courses offered by the college: MAT 61, 100/150, 110, 116, 126, 146, 150, 155, 205, 206, STA 220, and Calculus (MAT 175, 185, 275, & 285).

I need to schedule an in person or virtual appointment with an Accounting 201/202 tutor.

I need to schedule an in person or virtual appointment with a BIO 112 (Intro to Biology) tutor.

I need to schedule an in person or virtual appointment with a CIT tutor.

• CIT (Computer and Information Technology) tutors help with CIT 105 or CIT 111 - tutoring may be available for other CIT courses.

• FYE (First Year Experience) tutors help with any FYE 110 assignments.

• Technology Help is available for Blackboard navigation, online course materials, basic computer usage, Microsoft/Office 365 (Word, Excel, PPT), the KCTCS App, KCTCS email, Student Self-Service, and more.
