Filmmakers Douglas Gayeton and Laura Howard-Gayeton have turned their pioneering method of mixing hand-written text with photo collage into KNOW YOUR FOOD, a stunning collection of short films for PBS that introduce viewers to the terms and principles that enable them to be more responsible, sustainable-minded consumers. The films mix information artworks and animation by Pier Giorgio Provenzano with live action interviews with food producers from across the country.
THE FOOD LIST, a weekly cross-media messaging campaign, will deliver content—reports, news articles, blogs, videos, statistics, visual graphics, and art—on the same food & farming theme.
