Join us Spring 2014 as we read the inspring true story of
William Kamkwamba in The Boy Who Harnessed the
Wind. At age 14, William set out to make his dream of
building a windmill come true. For William "a windmill
[meant] more than just power, it [meant] freedom." A
windmill would bring electricity and water to his village;
but, more importantly, it would bring an escape from poverty and famine. William's story shows the power just one person can have to change the world.
