SKYCTC Book Club - Spring 2013 - The Hunger Games: The Hunger Games

Welcome and thank you for joining us on this adventure of survival in the futuristic nation of Panem.  Throughout the semester we will read The Hunger Games and examine the themes of diversity, voyeurism, popular culture, poverty, and entertainment.  The Hunger Games is a riveting story sure to incite good conversation.  Check out the schedule of events, and participate in our virtual discussion on the Book Discussion tab. 

This semester, we will be giving away The Hunger Games Trilogy to one book club participant.  The more you participate, the better your chances of winning!  May the odds be ever in your favor!

The book club is grateful for the SKYCTC Diversity Committee's support again this year.  Their financial contribution provided for the purchase of copies of The Hunger Games to be given away at our kickoff events.  Check out the Schedule of Events for the book giveaway and kickoff event on your campus.
